ECU Chequers are looking for Coaches for Season 2010
Coaching can be a rewarding experience and times challenging. At ECU Chequers we acknowledge this fact and in accordance have put together a scheme that rewards coaches and committee members. The rewards scheme in some small way pays back the time and effort put in by our club members (above and beyond what is expected of players).
Coaches / Committee / Player Incentives are as follows:
All coaches, committee members, and players are expected to pay their club and any course fees in full.
Any refunds shall be paid at the end of the PVL season
Refund amounts will be at the discretion of the committee group consisting of the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Coaches Coordinator

The guideline/context of refunds is as follows:
- Full times coaches will receive 100% of VWA coaches course
- 50% reimbursement of VWA coaches course to nominated assistant coaches
- Upon production of receipt, 50% refund of VWA referee’s course (to a max of 8 per season)
- Full refund of club fees for any full time/active committee member.
Coaches also received an additional coach’s incentive payment based on a percentage of a based rate for each division.
- Attendance at try-outs (5%)
- Training sessions attendance (40%)
- Coaches meeting attendance (5%)
- Attendance/coaching of games (40%)
- Coach’s coordinators mark (10%)
